This CD and Ian”s first on an internationally distributed label, sees Ian returning to his roots – the raw, passionate, urban Blues that fired his early passion for the Blues. It also shows him to be a commanding songwriter in a Muddy Waters-meets-Tom Waits vein.
Equally at home sitting on a stool with an old resonator guitar, or fronting his band with Stratocaster in hand, his voice and guitar playing are emotional and powerful.
