Anyone been listening to Mark Lamarr and God’s Jukebox on BBC R2? If you have then you’ll know that Mark has played tracks from Ian’s latest Album for two weeks running. The album has also just started playing on US radio and is now in the Roots Music chart.

“Swagger” is a ‘pick’ in three major high street retailers in the UK – HMV, Virgin and Borders – and has been the subject of window displays in continental retailers. All round it’s getting a great reaction!!

The band recorded a session for BBC R2’s Paul Jones show last week at the historic Maida Vale Studios (No 3 studio, where Bing Crosby made his last recording!). This is scheduled for broadcast at 7pm UK time on November 12th.

And finally, don’t forget that Ian and the band are playing the 100 CLUB on Thursday, 22nd November. This show is part of the London Jazz festival and will be heavily promoted, so get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
